Ballarat High School Band: Whizbang performs for Christmas

Whizbang are a 15 piece original big band comprising brass, woodwind, a rhythm section and vocalists, based at Ballarat High School.

The band has been in existence since 2000 and in that time has released 10 studio albums and performed at festivals, community events, school concerts and touring shows.

All repertoire is student-generated across a variety of genres from Latin to pop to jazz and prides itself on the variety of original compositions.

They are ready and excited to serenade the streets of Ballarat with a mix of some Christmas favourites.
