The exhibition is a series of tonal realist paintings, reflecting the ephemeral nature of life in a contemporary iteration of the Vanitas tradition. The colourful works are both joyful and contemplative. The subjects of the paintings are mementos of the people who have gifted them to the artist. They are personal, celebratory and very relatable.
