The Ballarat Memorial Concert Band is a vital part of the City of Ballarat’s music scene. They are a non-profit, multi-instrument ensemble, performing a wide range of music styles from marches to classical, jazz, and popular tunes at various community events.

The band, initially for Returned Soldiers, now welcomes members of all ages and abilities, boasting a playing membership of 35-40 individuals. They actively recruit new players, providing instruments and coaching. In 2018, they proudly achieved the title of Victorian Bands League Concert C Grade State Champions. Playing through the CBD:

Saturday December the 9th from 2pm until 4pm at The Queen Vic Statue, Sturt Street.

Sunday December the 17th from 1pm until 3pm at Santa’s Sleigh and Reindeer, Sturt Street.

Saturday December the 23rd from 6pm until 8pm at Santa’s Sleigh and Reindeer, Sturt Street.
