The Ballarat Heritage Festival are please to invite all to attend a Wadawurrung Cultural and Language Education.

In this free one-hour class you will learn about The Acknowledgment of Country, an overview of Wadawurrung Country, the animals and their uses, theri Healthy Country Plan. You will learn about Wadawurrung songs, musical instruments and gain an introduction to our Wadawurrung Language and the language app (Apple only).

Learn about Wadawurrung symbols, tools, men’s and women’s business, Cultural Heritage and Wadawurrung plants and trees. You will also learn about Wadawurrung greetings and high frequency words, ochre, and its uses as well as caring for Country.

Wadawurrung Language words will be used throughout. and there will be question time.
