Escape the city and enjoy a boutique-style ride with beautiful country views around the Pyrenees Ranges. Come try their exciting new route!

Would you like to cycle with minimal traffic, no crowds, no traffic lights, beautiful country views, and a finish at a beautiful winery? If the answer is yes, then their boutique ride around the Pyrenees Ranges, Avoca could suit you. This ride is great value and it’s also a charity fundraiser supporting the local community.

Starting off from Summerfields Winery the Pyrenees Magic Tri Distance ride will offer three ride lengths to suit all riders. Following the same route as the Blue Pyrenees Magic riders will take in the towns of Moonambel, Landsborough, and Elmhurst before returning to Summerfield Winery via a reversed route. Ride distances on offer include 33km, 53km and 96km. The new route also allows novice riders to try their hands at a road cycling event without the need to ride on the Pyrenees or Sunraysia Highway.

The Pyrenees Magic Tri Distance is an Audax-style cycling event hosted by the Rotary Club of Maryborough. It is a non-timed event designed to challenge riders to cycle long distances within a pre-defined time frame. Audax is a non-competitive sport which makes it a perfect day out for riders of all skill levels.

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
