The visitor information centre located in the picturesque Ballarat Botanical Gardens offers a warm welcome, personalised service plus a range of recommendations showcasing all the region has to offer.

The Ballarat Botanical Gardens Visitor Information Centre provides a pet-friendly space and dedicated caravan/long vehicle parking in Nursery Drive (off Wendouree Parade). This space also houses a selection of products from The Made of: Ballarat Shop that showcase the region's incredible local producers and artisans.

Complimentary Wi-Fi, public toilets and water refill station.

  • Welcomes and assists people who have challenges with learning, communication, understanding and behaviour. (includes people with autism, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, acquired brain injury (ABI), dyslexia and dementia)

  • Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids)
