Take a look at ways you can get involved with Ballarat In The Know as a business or creative.
Ballarat In The Know (BITK) is a platform designed to share with residents what’s on, what’s new and what to do in Ballarat. This is done via ballaratintheknow.com.au and its associated social media channels plus advertising to support these.
For the Let us know what you love wall art activation, we are inviting Ballarat artists to make submissions around the theme of what they love about the city. Six artists will be selected and images of their works will be installed at six CBD locations as part of an art trail.
With this activation, we’re aiming to encourage movement around the CBD, along with exploration and engagement. We also want to put a smile on people’s faces!
In addition, residents will be invited to submit what they love about the city, with a number of prizes up for grabs.
The City of Ballarat is seeing expressions of interest from artists, creatives or designers to create artworks to be used in an art trail.

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.
We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
