Grab a bargain at the Ballarat Vintage & Collectables Market. With over 80 stalls, every visit is a treasure hunt. Plus, it’s open seven days a week and you can grab coffee and something to eat at the on-site Magri’s Cafe.

See Ballarat and Lake Wendouree from a different angle when you take a ride on the Golden City Paddle Steamer. Cruises run Sundays from October to April.

Be immersed in history at the Ballarat Tramway Museum and go for a ride on a vintage tram. At the Eureka Centre, entry is free for Ballarat residents. After exploring the collection, stop and refuel at Lilly’s at Eureka cafe.

For delicious eats for under $20 per person, some great options include 1816 Bakehouse, Cobb’s Coffee, Saigon Allee, Flying Chillies and, for a sweet treat, Il Piccolo Gelato.
