Ethan and Lorelie Merton grow around 20,000 dahlias on their property at Bungaree, Victoria. Join in for an afternoon immersed in the beauty of the dahlia field. Florelie is rarely opened to the public. This exclusive event is a unique opportunity to visit a flower farm in bloom during peak dahlia season.

Delicious afternoon tea in the dahlia field, containing 20,000 dahlia plants. The dahlia field is approximately two acres in size. View their new seedling dahlias (over 3,000) as well as up and coming dahlias from their breeding program. Walk through a commercial cut flower farm. Lorelie will share briefly about the farm and there will be opportunity for question and answers over afternoon tea. Complete the experience with a beautiful bunch of dahlias to take home.

Catering supplied by local business Edible Indulgence. Both savoury and sweet options provided. They can cater for dietary restrictions with advanced notice. Please let them know when you book your ticket.

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
