Performing as part of the Christmas in Ballarat 2025 entertainment programme are Haddon Community Band.
The Haddon Community Concert Band has been bringing music to the Ballarat region since 1995. The band is comprised of a diverse group of members, varying in age and ability level. They come together from Haddon and Ballarat, with the shared goal of having fun and playing music in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Since its inception the band has been supported by the Haddon Lions Club and surrounding community.
The band is always welcome to new players. Perhaps you used to play an instrument at school, or you have been waiting for an opportunity and are looking for a supportive environment to play and meet new people.
Rehearsals are held at the Salvation Army Community Church on Tuesday nights from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm. The band boasts a wide range of brass, woodwind, and percussion payers. They play an eclectic range of music from classical pieces to marches, musicals, contemporary and popular arrangements.
