The name on everybody’s lips is gonna be – Fabulosity!

Are you a drag diva looking for a place to sparkle? A cabaret star waiting for their moment in the spotlight? A burlesque babe wanting to shimmy and shake? These workshops are for you!

Presented over two nights, Fabulosity is performance unzipped, untucked and understood.

You will have the opportunity to create a character, put together a costume and work up a performance to bring your stage persona to life.

Then, for those bold of heart and ready to shine, the gold at the end of this rainbow is a chance to debut your new creation at one of the Piano Bar Ballarat’s upcoming Neuro Bingo nights.

Your Fabulosity midwife, helping you to bring your creation into the world, is Aunty Banana, a salty diva with more than 30 years of experience in developing and producing diverse performances for stage and screen.

These workshops are a real triple threat, incorporating character, costume and choreography, and Aunty B is ready to facilitate the hell outta them!

The workshops are free but places are strictly limited, so book now...

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
