Get ready for laughs, playful performances and Begonia fun at the Garden of Giggles!

With shows running all day, the Garden of Giggles is delivering non-stop laughter for both kids and grown-ups alike.

Kids can follow their curiosity with Polyglot Theatre's Bees, as three human-sized Bees busy themselves in the creation of a community alongside children who transform into bees as they play.

The Vegetable Plot brings the music and storytelling to help kids fall in love with veggies! Their songs are filled with jokes and puns to show kids that language isn’t just something you learn to pass a test, it’s something you play and create with.

The much-loved Laughter House returns this year, popping up throughout the day with bursts of comedy and joyful moments that keep the giggles coming!

You can find the Garden of Giggles at the 2026 Ballarat Begonia Festival.

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
