Back by popular demand for one weekend only, Kryal Castle transforms into a fairytale realm as its magnificent horses become unicorns at the Unicorn Festival.

Whether you're visiting with young ones or simply young at heart, enter a world of fantasy with themed entertainment, magical creatures roaming the Castle grounds, and hands-on activities for the whole family.

Highlights include family friendly activities such as the fairy unicorn dance party and unicorn rides. Put your skills to the test with unicorn chess. Cheer as brave knights take to horseback in a dazzling display. Meet their mascots and say hello to the friendly unicorns. Transform your look with unicorn face painting and unicorn hair braiding. Enjoy their regular program including archery, the Skill at Arms show, Knight School, and potion making.

Extend the magic with a medieval sleepover. Kryal Castle has plenty of accommodation options to suit a range of budgets, including Castle rooms, cabins, tiny homes, and campsites.

Visit the Kryal Castle website to book your tickets and plan your weekend.

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
