Experience the captivating melodies of Tomislav Kvesic, a musical prodigy at just 18 years old, with a decade of experience under his belt, specialising particularly in Cello and Piano accordion.

From the grandeur of symphonies to the intimate melodies of traditional folk tunes, Tomislav's performances are a testament to his love for music.

Whether it's enchanting audiences with the rich harmonies of Bach or stirring emotions with the soulful strains of Balkan music, Tomislav's musical journey is a tapestry of diverse experiences and boundless creativity.

Having honed his skills as a member of the prestigious Melbourne Youth Orchestra, Tomislav is no stranger to the spotlight, having graced the stages of performance halls such as Iwaki Auditorium, and even local venues, including the community church and a beloved cafe. His talent has even taken him to the Australian Accordion Society, where he has embraced new opportunities and expanded his musical horizons.

As a dedicated secondary student balancing his academic and sporting pursuits with his musical passion, Tomislav is a shining example of talent, dedication, and the power of music to inspire and connect us all.

Don't miss the chance to be swept away by this young maestro at the Ballarat Heritage Festival.

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
