Nate Faker is the solo project of Nathan Hudson, the founding member, vocalist, and guitarist of the acclaimed Australian band Faker. As Nate Faker, Hudson breathes new life into Faker's iconic catalogue with reimagined versions of beloved tracks, exclusive unreleased material, and fresh surprises. Known for his emotionally charged songwriting and magnetic stage presence, Hudson continues to evolve artistically while staying true to the bold spirit that defined Faker's sound.

Faker broke through with their 2005 debut Addicted Romantic, produced by Lindsay Gravina. The album tackled provocative themes with a raw, fearless energy, earning critical praise and a nomination for Triple J's J Award. Its standout single "Hurricane" became a Triple J favourite, and despite lineup changes, the band maintained momentum with their striking lyrics and live energy, establishing themselves as a staple of Australia's indie rock scene.

In 2007, their second album Be the Twilight elevated the band's profile further. Led by the hit single "This Heart Attack," which reached the ARIA top 10, the album was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Paul Fox and marked a more immediate sound. Following major tours, including supporting Pink, Faker released Get Loved in 2011. After a hiatus and breakup in 2013, Faker returned in 2020 and are currently finalising a new album between Berlin and São Paulo.

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
