Join Creswick Connect for a special community celebration marking the official unveiling of the new interpretive signage at the Australasian No. 2 Mine Site.

Together, they'll commemorate the 1882 mining disaster, honour the lives of the 22 miners who lost their lives, and celebrate an important milestone in preserving and sharing Creswick's rich mining heritage.

The morning will feature a commemorative ceremony, guest speakers, community performances, and light refreshments, with opportunities to explore the new interpretive signage, connect with others, and learn more about the site's history and its place within the Buried Rivers of Gold Heritage Trail.
